Screen: IMAX screens (   20m x 26m )can be up to eight stories high. Because these screens fill your peripheral vision, you have the sense of being right in the action. When I was watching <Joker> in the IMAX cinema, the big screen provided me an extrodinary experience that I can enjoy the colours, details and lots of information that the director and filming team offered. Projector: It features the most advanced projector ever built using Imax's patented Rolling Loop technology. Each frame is positioned on fixed registration pins; the film is held firmly against the rear element of the lens by a vacuum. A 68 per cent shutter transmits one third more light than a conven...

Hurtwood Opening sequence(In studio)

Image
Identity In terms of the mise-en-scene, the colour and props are contributed to the genre of the film. For example, test tubes, beakers usually exist in a biochemical experiment. There are many extreme close up for visual purposes. Background music matches the genre of the moving images very well, fast rhythm and repeat particular chord make the music more"scientific". Also, the colours are saturated which can make people excited. Undeniably, the visual and sound effect is successful in this scene. However, to be honest, there is nothing apart from close up. And there is no clue to show people what is going on and no narrative, it's probably would be difficult for the general audiences to understand and expect the plot.

Hurtwood opening title sequence(on location)

ON THE INSIDE(On location) The tension of this opening sequence is been greatly built up: -By Camera: Hand held movement to show the unstability and the sense of risky. Point of view, bring the audience into the role Also, there is an interesting clue to attract audience's curiosity that he left the mike on the table. By sound: Digestic sound---- Unlock the door, running from the stairs (build tension) It's a pity that the visual effect is not so perfect , for instance, in the first scene the background is exposure. Also, it's weird to have a little meeting in the kitchen and says "we only got ten minutes". It's more make sense if he says that when they are walking in.
